Imperx Unveils Panther Series: A Deep Learning Camera for Challenging Environments

Imperx has introduced the AI1-P1911, the first model in its groundbreaking Panther camera series. Engineered for demanding machine vision tasks, this advanced camera integrates an embedded AI core, allowing users to deploy custom-trained neural networks directly on the device.

At its heart is the Sony Pregius IMX429 global shutter CMOS sensor, delivering a resolution of 1944 x 1472 pixels and a frame rate of up to 40 fps. With 4.5 µm pixel size, a dynamic range of 77 dB, and support for 8-, 10-, and 12-bit output modes, the AI1-P1911 ensures precise imaging even in challenging conditions.

The camera offers flexible connectivity with GigE Vision and PoE (Power over Ethernet) output, as well as support for CIP™ and EtherNet/IP™ protocols. Housed in an IP67-rated enclosure, it is built to withstand harsh environments, making it an ideal choice for industries such as food and beverage production, intelligent transportation systems, and industrial surveillance.
